Pacing & update on my return to work!

Following on from yesterdays post, over the last 4 weeks I have been using the pacing theory to keep going through the pain.

Pacing theory? Doing something for a set period of time followed by a rest for an equal amount of time.

I started with 5 minute sessions and have gradually increased up to 30 minutes, depending on the task.....I can't walk around the shops unaided for this length of time but I can sort out paperwork including recycling, shredding & filing.

Because of this, I have spoken to my boss today!!!!

He asked how I was so brought him up to date, I should be hearing from HR or occupational health any time to make arrangements for a phased return to work when I am ready as well as, hopefully, any additional help I will need to perform my role. I am desperate to get back to work, even if I have to cut my hours down.....I confess I am one person who loves their job!!!!

I know I haven't really mentioned about how I use craft as therapy for fibromyalgia, but when I show you what I have been up to over the last few weeks everything will become clearer!
